Our Why
“The most interesting conversations about African diaspora entrepreneurship were happening in private WhatsApp groups, over coffee, and in the corridors of diaspora business conferences. We wanted to bring them into the open.”
Shanga HQ was born from that observation. A platform where the founder in London could learn from the investor in Lagos. Where the second-generation entrepreneur in Atlanta could find community with the returnee in Nairobi.
Like the beads that inspired our name, each story we tell is unique. Together, they form a necklace of shared experience, collective wisdom, and connected ambition.
